Well, it’s sometimes hard to say simple things; “ich gönn es meinen Eltern”… but well, a typo and… it’s difficult…
Hehe… “gönnen” means “_not_ to begrudge the trip to your parents” – when you say only “begrudge” you say “nicht gönnen”. It’s the other way around in English
